Outside the Palace

Cameras flash. Reporters stand behind the cordon. The doors open.

Unbothered C.: "Madame President, have you been following the online chatter. There's currently a disruption on Vox and quite a discourse. A minority believes beige is the way to go, it's quiet luxury while others, as a matter of fact, the majority believes we're way past that and creativity should make a return. What are your thoughts?"

Mr. Her: "Beige Boredom is becoming an epidemic. There was a time when extreme restraint in minimalism was celebrated, but with that came a lack of vision, art, interest. Time seems frozen and everyone is looking the same. The same pieces are seen across as helping with better dressing while removing individuality which we fight for. Sameness is everywhere. Putting two pieces of garment or beauty products on a table and removing their labels, we will not be able to make the distinction between them as they are alike. Our nation is proud to raise uncomfortable questions. We've been quiet for too long, expecting reality to snap back. As time is passing by, we're losing our personality and embracing looking alike. We're no longer stepping back, we want answers, mostly we want truth. Aren't we all tired of The Cult of Sameness?Thank you."
