Interrogation - Jacquemus RTW F/W 2026

Hotel La Valeur, Suite 101, 8:21 p.m. All gathered in the room, barely drinking anything. Ready for the big breakdown.

This Fashion Week, some brands have exploded online in recent chatters while others have faded. A good collection is no longer enough to save brands, only desire and emotion ca. If a person can feel a collection, they become this brand's consumer. Judge Silhouette from the Nation of Sensaciato has invited Judge Standard from Sprezza Modo, Judge Return from Intimaciato, Judge Flow from Sprezza Vita, Judge Proportion from Dolciato, Judge Movement from Inbaciato, Judge Platform from Baciolato and Judge Flash from Sorbaciato. Judge Flash is only here on behalf of Bank to observe only. The others have been invited to this final Mega debate to conclude this season.

So far, many brands understood the assignment while others have felt stagnant. The judges definitely have their favorites and are holding on to them. Let the debate start.

Observed Code:

Talercio Law I Rule 1.1 - "Every outfit shall be a statement of intent, not an accident."

Statement of intent was delivered, however, a disappointment has been raised.

Bar Debate - Jacquemus 2026

Judge Silhouette: "As you all know, our focus this fashion week is our most imperative law (Talercio L.I-R.1.1.); intent, not accident is our focus. While some have excelled with minor inconsistencies, others have... well, there's not much to say."

Judge Standard: "Tory Burch was actually quite surprising, there's a restraint shown that I haven't seen before. Were there misses? Absolutely, Look 41 completely forgets silhouette exists. And Look 18, there's clearly a disruption between the design and the details. Overall, Fresh Gelato!"

Judge Movement: "I expected more from Thom Browne this season, I was let down a bit. Conceptually, beautiful. However, a lot was missing. The fabric looks hard to move in. How can we spend a day in something that might be uncomfortable? On top of that, there's a blatant lack of color palette. Yes, Grey everywhere! Haven't we seen them using this color palette palette for at least four consecutive collections now? Can't it be improved? I... well I'm disappointed, same silhouette, same color, same fabric, fabric doesn't look fluid. It's a sameness packaged into a new season. Very Over-baked Croissant!"

Judge Flow: "Carolina Herrera understood the project: Fashion Week. Basically, translation for make me dream and buy every single item. The prints, the designs, the choice of fabric. There's a balance between Sheer and opaque, no excess, the perfect mix. The designs are impeccably desirable. Don't get me wrong, I wish Look 26 and Look 38 were left on the board. Sometimes, somethings are better left unsaid or unseen in this case. That being said, an objective was set and an objective was achieved. Would I want to be photographed in these pieces? EVERY DAY. This collection is Kissed By Desire."

Judge Proportion: "Calvin Klein somewhat understood the assignment. There's strength, confidence, sensuality, restraint in the collection. The seams and silhouettes are impeccable, the outfits are beautiful. Weirdly enough, the choice of fabrics is surprising as each fabric enhances the silhouette. One thing for sure, they played it safe, almost too safe. Were designs beautiful? Yes. Could they have pushed further? Absolutely, it might even be necessary. Great execution, great attention to details, great choice of fabrics. BUT, lose the Greek mythology dressing, it did not elevate the concept, it cheapened it. Sitting Still Stiletto!"

Judge Platform: "Fforme! Based on Talercio L.I-R.1.1: intent is what we're looking for. The collection showed intent. All the pieces were simple but stunning. Look 3 for example, the pleats on the fabric. Yes! Well design, well placed, well thought. The collection has shown a thought process not seen in a long time. That being said, some looks were more 'accident' than 'intent' such as Looks 16 and 18 - way too basic to be part of this collection. The color palette is also stunning. However, Look 11 (gold dress) did not do its job. It feels rushed and forced. It's trying to fit, but it's not landing. Maybe if it was the closing look, its place would have felt more supported. Soft Mocktail!"

Judge Return: "Ralph Lauren has recently sparked a debate online and find itself in a generation that used to forget it. The brand relies heavily on their DNA and what made them known and loved in the first place. The choice of going back to memory and fully embrace it is currently what makes them Ralph Lauren. Looking at this collection, it's definitely leaning towards Old Hollywood while keeping the restraint that we know the brand for. The brand presented a collection true to itself. I can't believe I'm saying this out loud, but I'm not complaining about the color palette for once. It's neutral, but it works. While Look 9 is not my cup of tea, the entire collection is well executed. The designer did not simply revise memory, he modernized it. It's Déjà Impeccable!"

Judge Silhouette: "Marc Jacobs, let's have a chat! What is this collection? What exactly was the concept behind it or what was I supposed to admire? Yes, everything is well made and the silk shirts look incredible. That's about everything nice I have to say. Now, the good part. What kind of silhouette is that? I was looking through the entire collection and that rectangle shape IS NOT IT! Nothing about it screams sensuality or desire or confidence. If anything, it makes me lose confidence. Those pieces are made to have a fight with the body mostly the waist instead of embracing and cinching it. What is most offensive is that there's no bottom piece from the collection I want as they would make me look like a bowling ball. No shape, no silhouette, and honestly, construction wise, it looks like sewing two rectangle pieces together. The tops are well made, but do I want to get them? Absolutely not! Where's the designer's DNA? What am I even looking at? Don't even get me started on Look 11 (blue dress), better fitting is needed. I'll give the brand that: the color palette is interesting and they have taken more risks when it comes to beauty which I appreciate. Everything else, Gravity Collapsed!"

Judge Movement: "A look at the collection and we said absolutely not, we're not touching it. There's nothing to touch here."

Judge Standard: "Well said. However, a brand that made a surprisingly stunning collection is Michael kors."

Judge Silhouette: "They seem to go back to their roots and made what they were most loved for. The coats and jackets, i want them all."

Judge Flow: "I find myself wanting to be seen in the brand after a bad breakup a few years back."

Judge Platform: "They are the definition of intent. Nothing here was accidental. All thought through."

Judge Proportion: "In recent years, it felt like the brand has lost its spark. It finally retrieved it. Welcome back!"

Judge Silhouette: "It reminded me what it actually looks like when a designer lost sight of their art for a while and is finally returning to his passion. All right, does anyone else has anything to add or can we adjourn?"

Judge (All of Them): "All Said."

Judge Platform: "In this case, the Court has convened and conceded that Fashion Week was a success except for a few missteps here and there that can be redeemed next season. Court is adjourned. So ordered, Fashion Week Council."

Recorded. Filed. Archived. Fashion Week is now a matter of public record. The season ended.

Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026 is officially closed.

Conclusion

This season has proven itself full of surprises and delight. Also, full of disappointment and missteps. However, it has been more positive than negative.

Therefore, the judges have concluded:

Soft Espresso!

Report Filed. Case Continues.
